Who Can Submit: Established & Emerging Artists Worldwide

All submitions must be original.

We are looking for thought-provoking, visually captivating pieces that reflect the theme of Horizons – whether it's personal, cultural, environmental, futuristic, or spiritual.

We accept all mediums, including:

  1. Painting

  2. Illustration

  3. Digital Art (Not AI Generated)

  4. Mixed Media

  5. Sculpture (images of 3D work)

  6. Art research

  7. Art education articles

 

Selected artists will:

  1. Be featured in both the print and digital editions of Art Horizons

  2. Have the opportunity to share their artist statement and bio​

  3. U.S.-based contributors receive a free print copy of the issue featuring their work.

  4. International contributors receive a free digital copy.

  5. Additional print copies (for all contributors and the public) can be purchased on Amazon after publication.

  6. Art Horizons is available in print on Amazon.com. A direct link will be shared upon release.​

📥 Submission Guidelines:

  1. Up to 5 works may be submitted

  2. High-resolution JPEGs (at least 1500 px wide)

  3. Image format: High-resolution JPEGs (at least 1500 px on the longest side).

  4. File naming format:

    • FirstName_LastName_Medium_Title_SizeInCM_Year.jpg

    • (Example: Jane_Doe_OilOnCanvas_Whispers_60x80_2023.jpg)

  5. In your email or submission form, also include:

    • Title

    • Medium

    • Size in cm (H x W or H x W x D for 3D works)

    • Year of creation

    • Short artist bio (max 200 words)

    • Optional: Artist statement (max 150 words)​​

  6. Optional: Artist statement (max 150 words)

Submission Guidelines for Articles (Research/Education):

  1. Word count: 800–3500 words

  2. Format: Word document

  3. Include a title, your name, and a short bio

  4. Optional: related images (with captions and credits)
