Representing Young Audience of Houston, Dr. Junrui Garcia Conducted 5 Workshops at Ray L Shotwell Middle School on January 24 and 31, 2022. More than 60 students attended the workshops.

Different from other art, sand art is the art that created with sand and you can't keep them because to create new one you have to destroy the current one. Therefore, the only way of keeping sand art is to take pictures or videos.

The best part of sand art is enjoying and relaxing. Sand art is easy to create and it makes you feel relaxed while you manipulating sand and seeing something showing up on the screen or your sand tray.

Our young artists are so amazing! They could create many beautiful sand art at their first try!

Thank Dr. Christine Phares!

Thank Ms. Paige Cullingford!
